Design On Purpose News:
Always Prompt Entered in ADC2
Design on Purpose is participating in Google's ADC2 (Android Developer Challenge 2) contest. Always Prompt alerts users when to leave for a calendar appointment based on their current GPS position.
Here at Design on Purpose we have been really excited about the Android™ platform. When Google announced the Android Developer Challenge 2 (ADC2) we decided to create an entry. After a few different ideas, we finally decided on Always Prompt, a time management application that works!
It combines Google Calendar appointments with your phone's current location and calculates when you need to depart to arrive on-time. The application allows for different modes of transportation: driving, walking, and public transit. By knowing where you are, where you need to be, traffic, and subway times, you never need to be late again!
Give it a try! More information here.
